Finisher’s buckle for 50 Mile Ultra. Finisher’s medal for marathoners and half marathoners. Awards for overall male and female winners for each race and for winners in each age group.
Runners will be following the DPR Trail signs (look for DPR Trail Races logo — see sample in photo below) noting a variety of course related directions (i.e. arrows, wrong way, etc.) at any point along the trail that we feel a crossing path might cause confusion. Each of these signs will have our DPR Trail Logo in the corner:
FOOD AND DRINK:
Coffee, water,Tailwind sports drink and bananas will be available to all runners before the race. Each runner will be receive a meal after the finish of their race — hamburger or veggie burger with chips, sports drink and a cookie.

Any race packets not picked up will be transferred to the event venue for pickup on race morning. Please arrive early if you choose to take advantage of this
10 minutes before each race at the starting line.
All three races will start and finish at Half Day Preserve (enter parking area from Route 21 just north of Route 22).

Runners for all three races will head South on the DPR Trail for 1.3 miles.
This will be a runner check-in point. They will then be directed by Volunteers to turnaround and
double-back North on the DPR Trail until passing the Start/Finish Aid Station. From that point
all runners will continue North on the DPR Trail to their respective north turn-around points:
Aid Station #3 for Half-Marathoners, Aid Station #5 (Adler Memorial Park) for the Marathoners,
and Aid Station #7 (Wadsworth Rd Canoe Launch) for the 50 milers.
The course will be clearly marked with our DPR Race Mile Markers.
START TIMES: All three races will start in waves.
50 Mile Runners
- 07:00 / 1st Group – under 9 hour anticipated finish time
- 07:03 / 2nd Group – between 9 and 11 hours
- 07:06 / 3rd Group – over 11 hours
- 08:00 / 1st Group – under 4 hour anticipated finish time
- 08:03 / 2nd Group – between 4 and 4.5 hours
- 08:06 / 3rd Group – between 4.5 and 5.5 hours
- 08:09 / 4th Group – between 5.5 and 6.5 hours
- 08:12 / 5th Group – over 6.5 hours
Half Marathon Runners
- 09:00 / 1st Group – under 2 hour anticipated finish time
- 09:03 / 2nd Group – between 2 and 2.25 hours
- 09:06 / 3rd Group – between 2 .25 and 2.5 hours
- 09:09 / 4th Group – between 2.5 and 2.75 hours
- 09:12 / 5th Group – between 2.75 and 3 hours
- 09:15 / 6th Group – between 3 and 3.25 hours
- 09:18 / 7th group – over 3.25 hours
50 Mile Ultra — 11.5 hours (course closes at 6:30 pm)
Marathon — 10.5 hours (marathoners are welcome to remain on the course until the course closes at 6:30 pm)
Half Marathon — 9.5 hours (half marathoners are welcome to remain on the course until the course closes at 6:30 pm)

THERE ARE NO DROP BAGS FOR MARATHONERS!
We will also designate an area at the start/finish line where you can leave a bag. It will be unattended. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Do not leave valuables in this area.
